As we finish out a week where Texans faced unprecedented winter storm conditions and millions experienced power outages and no water across the state, I share the concerns for the safety of our neighbors and communities. It is unacceptable the conditions individuals were forced to try and survive in. I am committed to working with my colleagues at the state and local level to address the problems that lead to the disastrous situation many of us found ourselves in to ensure Texas is better prepared for this kind of emergency. My office and I have compiled a list of resources that might provide relief of insight to those in need.
